Coconut toffee - ( pol toffee)

  • 400 g  condense milk
  • 200 g   Fresh coconut
  •  75  g   Sugar
  • 100 g  Cashew nuts
  • 2  tsp  Butter or ghee

Mix the condensed milk, sugar and coconut and put the mixture in a thick pan
  • when the mixture starts boilin, add the ghee/butter
  • keep stirring and cooking till the mixture turns golden brown
  • add the chopped walnuts and mix well
  • spread the mixture on a greased cake pan
  • press and level by pressing with a wet cloth
  • after 5 mins, cut the toffee into small pieces and remove when cold
